Community agencies in Cheyenne are partnering to offer Wyoming’s first ever Parent Leadership Training Institute. The Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) is a 20-week course designed to provide parents, youth, and communities with the knowledge, skills, and tools for leadership. Governor's Proclamation

October 2009 -- For the second year in a row, Governor Freudenthal has officially proclaimed October as Family Engagement Month for Wyoming. The proclamation by Governor Freudenthal will help Wyoming families and schools celebrate the important roles that families play in the education of their children.

Governor Freudenthal, along with those from the Parent Education Network would like to encourage all citizens to take this month to raise the level of their involvement in their child’s learning and setting high expectations for their students. What is PHP of Wyoming, Inc.?

Parents Helping Parents of Wyoming, Inc is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1990. Governed by a board of directors, the majority who are parents or family members of children with disabilities, PHP 's mission is to provide a means of communication, cooperation, and education to parents and professionals who wish to serve and support children with and without disabilities. We aim to help families become more active in their children's learning and education, and obtain better programs and services through education, support, and referral.
