Disability Awareness Postcard

To celebrate, PIC and WY Family 2 Family Health Information Center (WYF2FHIC), are offering free Disability Awareness Postcards to families, teachers, and providers to encourage respectful and thoughtful language. Contact PIC today and get packets of 50 postcards free for disability awareness.


Governor's Proclamation

October 2009 -- For the second year in a row, Governor Freudenthal has officially proclaimed October as Family Engagement Month for Wyoming. The proclamation by Governor Freudenthal will help Wyoming families and schools celebrate the important roles that families play in the education of their children.

Governor Freudenthal, along with those from the Parent Education Network would like to encourage all citizens to take this month to raise the level of their involvement in their child’s learning and setting high expectations for their students. What is PHP of Wyoming, Inc.?

Parents Helping Parents of Wyoming, Inc is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1990. Governed by a board of directors, the majority who are parents or family members of children with disabilities, PHP 's mission is to help families become more active in their children’s learning and education, to serve and support children with and without disabilities through advocacy, education, and referral.
