In celebration of our 20th year of helping Wyoming families, Parents Helping Parents of WY, Inc will be sharing some of the highlights of some of our different projects by sharing stories of the families we've worked with. Please join us over the next year in celebration and tell us your story too!
Parents as Teachers (PAT)
Through Parents Helping Parents of WY, INC and Parent Education Network, PAT is a parent education and family support program, serving families throughout pregnancy until kindergarten entry. This research-based program is designed to enhance child development and school achievement through parent engagement that is free and accessible to all families in six communities in Wyoming.
Mary is currently a student and Brady just had his 1stbirthday. They have been involved with Parents as Teachers since Mary was 7 months pregnant with Brady.
Grandmother Rose loves having visits with her parent educator and is always looking for new ways to maximize the development of her granddaughter.
Michelle, Kate and Parker Davis. They have been with Parents As Teachers for 3 years. Michelle is a former teacher and now stay-at-home mother. She and husband, Justin, welcomed baby Lucy to their family this past April.
